Fright Reads Book Festival was founded in 2021 as a self-proclaimed Halloween pre-game. It is designed to be a one-stop shop for spooky book needs as well as quality horror decor and artwork. Author Harry Carpenter founded Fright Reads with the intention to put like-minded individuals into one room. Designing the event to cater to small, independent authors and businesses, he's strived to maintain that, as observed from the first annual event! As seen in the previous events, everything from candle makers to jewelers were featured to give everyone a chance to be showcased and succeed.
